MINSK, 8 June (BelTA) – The Belarusian petrochemical concern Belneftekhim and the Indian holding company Hinduja Group are considering the possibility of manufacturing lubricant oils together, Belneftekhim representatives told BelTA.
During negotiations with Belneftekhim representatives Rakesh Gupta, president of the Indian holding company Hinduja Group, said that Gulf Oil Corporation is part of the holding company and is one of the world’s largest companies that makes lubricating materials and special lubricating materials for sea vessels. Rakesh Gupta expressed interest in implementing joint projects to make lubricant oils.
As a result of the talks the sides reached an agreement to set up a Belarusian-Indian working group to consider the possibility of investment cooperation in manufacturing lubricant oils using OAO Naftan and OAO Mineral Wax Plant.
