MINSK, 2 June (BelTA) – In January-April 2023 enterprises of the Belarusian timber, woodworking, pulp and paper industry concern Bellesbumprom increased their export to Nizhny Novgorod Oblast by almost 40% year-on-year, BelTA learned from the press service of the concern.
Belarus supplies a lot of paper and cardboard and products from them, as well as tall oil and wood-based panels to this Russian region. The export grew rapidly last year as well. In 2022, enterprises of the Bellesbumprom concern ramped up their export almost 2.2 times over 2021.
On 1 June Belarus’ First Deputy Prime Minister Nikolai Snopkov met with Nizhny Novgorod Oblast Governor Gleb Nikitin. The Belarusian delegation is in Nizhny Novgorod on a working visit.
