MINSK, 23 July (BelTA) – Possible supplies and joint production of Belkommunmash electric buses were discussed during a visit of the company’s delegation led by Director General Vladimir Korol to Egypt, BelTA learned from the Belarusian embassy in Egypt.

Belkommunmash representatives met with the authorities of the Ministry of Trade and Industry, the Military Industry Organization of Egypt, the Alexandria Passenger Transportation Authority and the Cairo Transportation Authority.

The talks included a presentation of the Belarusian passenger machinery. The parties discussed possible supplies and joint production of electric buses and trams in Egypt to modernize the public transport system. The parties reached agreements that the Belarusian company would send concrete technical and commercial proposals to organizations taking into account Egypt’s needs.
