MINSK, 15 September (BelTA) – The Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BelCCI) plans a series of online events for business promotion in September-October 2020, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The aim is to promote export of Belarusian companies, present new areas of support for export-oriented business, preserve existing and establish new contacts between domestic enterprises and foreign partners, overcome the consequences of the downturn in business activity caused by the pandemic.

A total of seven different events are planned. These are streams, practical webinars and roundtable sessions. Online streams by heads of the BelCCI's structural units will familiarize the Belarusian business community with the new directions of the BelCCI activities and plans. Practical webinars and round tables will highlight current issues of foreign economic activity, opportunities for trade and economic cooperation with specific countries.

The series of events will be opened by the online stream “Academy of Export: Terms of Participation”. It will be held on 17 September and will be dedicated to the presentation of the business course Academy of Export, a project of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

On 22 September, the BelCCI will hold a practical webinar entitled as Everything about Exhibitions: how to end 2020 on a positive note, innovations for participants of national exhibitions, plan for 2021, how to get state support for participation in exhibitions”. During the webinar, representatives of the chamber will speak about exhibitions planned to be held before the end of the year, as well as the most promising events for the next year. The BelCCI, together with the Finance Ministry and the oblast executive committees will present business opportunities of state support for participation in exhibitions, explain the legislation and give detailed recommendations on how to get such support.

On 23 September, representatives of business circles of Belarus and Moldova will discuss the prospects of bilateral cooperation, restrictions due to the epidemic, anti-crisis measures to minimize the consequences of the decline in business activity.

On 24 September, the events will continue with the online stream “The BelCCI service on goods acceptance: what to pay attention to when signing trade contracts”. On 29 September, business representatives will be shown the advantages of the ATA carnet, a tool for simplified temporary import of goods.

On 30 September, experts of the BelCCI and the State Customs Committee of Belarus will speak about registration of Belarusian enterprises and organizations planning to export to Norway or Switzerland in the registered exporter system (REX).

On 1 October, the BelCCI will present the possibilities of protecting Belarusian exporters' products with trademarks abroad.
