MINSK, 5 April (BelTA) - BelAZ, the managing company of BelAZ holding company, increased its exports by 80% in Q1 2018, the company told BelTA.

In January-March 2018 the company exported about 96% of it products. The company sold to 24 countries.

Russia, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan made up the top three customers of the Belarusian factory. BelAZ increased supplies to Russia by 61.8%. Deliveries to the CIS countries soared four times. The Belarusian company also sold its products to Indonesia, Poland, Bosnia and Herzegovina. BelAZ vehicles were first delivered to Bangladesh.

Heavy-payload haul trucks (110-130t) make up the majority of overseas deliveries.

In January-March 2018 increase in production made up 90% as against the same period a year ago.

BelAZ is the world’s top manufacturer of haul trucks with a large and extremely large payload capacity as well as other heavy transport equipment used in mining and construction. In 2017, BelAZ was ranked second among the manufacturers of haul trucks in terms of exports of heavy-duty trucks.
