MINSK, 3 November (BelTA) - The International Air Transport Association (IATA) has renewed Belavia’s IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) registration until 2 November 2019, BelTA learned from the press service of the airline.
Belavia specialists stated that the registration renewal confirms the airline’s status as meeting the requirements of IATA operational safety standards.
“For the past two years Belavia has continued introducing the safety management and aviation security systems, improving the quality management system, enhancing the level of its services. The airline provides systemic safety of flights and does its best in improving the quality of its services in the transportation of people, cargoes and mail,” Belavia stressed.
OISA registration confirms that the airline applies the advanced international aviation operational safety standards, supports the expansion of cooperation with the world’s leading airlines, and simplifies the ways to enter new markets.
Belavia is Belarus’ largest air carrier performing regular flights to 49 airports in 28 European and Asian countries. The company’s fleet includes 26 aircraft (five Boeings 737-800, six Boeings 737-500, seven Boeings 737-300, two Embraers-175, two Embraers-195, four jets CRJ-100/-200).
