MINSK, 3 October (BelTA) – The Belarusian State Technological University will implement a Union State project on green energy and green chemistry, BelTA learned from Alexander Tsyganov, First Vice Rector of the Belarusian State Technological University, on 3 October.
"We applied, won the grant and will start implementing the Union State large project connected with green energy and green chemistry next year. The sum will be determined in March, and the project financing will be started in April-May. The project is to last three years. We hope that we will achieve the expected results and the devices that we have developed for the project would be used in large chemical companies in Belarus and Russia. It will promote quality improvement of the products and greater attention of the companies to the ecology," Alexander Tsyganov said.
He noted that the special galvanic cells of new designs will be developed for green energy industry. "These are fundamentally new devices which can hardly be found in the CIS countries. The work on them is underway in the USA and Japan. This is a relevant modern direction", the first vice rector said.
