GOMEL, 11 June (BelTA) - The Belarusian mechanical engineering company OAO Gomselmash has handed a grain harvester KPS-3219KR over to Belarusian State Agricultural Academy, BelTA learned from the company's press service.
Gomselmash gave this machine as this model has been included in the curriculum and training programs of the Academy.
The Academy appreciated the on-board information and control system, one of the newest developments of Gomselmash. It includes a wide range of automatic control, diagnostic, registration, warning and emergency alert functions. It is also possible to adjust and fine-build the machine's working bodies for different crops and harvesting conditions.
The grain harvester has supplemented the Academy's training equipment fleet, which will strengthen the practice-oriented approach in training of engineering personnel for the country's agricultural sector.
Belarusian State Agricultural Academy is celebrating its 180th anniversary this year.
