MINSK, 15 September (BelTA) – A Belarusian-Slovenian business forum will take place in the Slovenian city of Maribor on 23-25 September, BelTA learned from representatives of the National Agency of Investment and Privatization of Belarus.
According to the source, during the event investment opportunities and business operation terms in Belarus will be presented as well as the trade and economic potential of Maribor. A presentation of successful investment projects will take place as well. Apart from that, a number of bilateral meetings will take place. The Belarusian and Slovenian sides are going to discuss economic cooperation matters. Participants of the forum will also visit a manufacturing line of CPM/Tam Company.
Heads of government agencies and top executives of Belarusian companies have been invited to take part in the forum, including Amkodor, Minsk Tractor Works, Minsk Automobile Plant, BelAZ, and the Belarusian state food industry concern Belgospishcheprom.
The Slovenian side will be represented by members of the central government, representatives of the Economy Ministry, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Maribor city administration, the chamber of commerce and industry, the SID Bank, the Center for International Cooperation and Development (CMSR), and representatives of about 70 Slovenian companies.
