MOSCOW, 11 December (BelTA) – Belarusian Railways will present its transit and logistics capabilities in Moscow. A roundtable session will be arranged in the Business and Cultural Complex of the Embassy of Belarus in Russia on 14 December to discuss Belarus’ transit potential for transporting Russian exports and imports, the press service of the diplomatic mission told BelTA.
Top officials of Belarusian Railways and Russian Railways, representatives of the directorate of the CIS Railway Transport Council, major cargo recipients and shippers, forwarding and logistics companies are expected to take part in the event.
The roundtable session is supposed to deliver information about Belarusian Railways’ tariff policy for 2018. The event will present Belarusian Railways’ technical, technological, and logistics capabilities for transporting Russian foreign trade cargoes.
Participants of the meeting are expected to discuss topical matters, including those concerning freight transportation, ways to attract shippers, rates on transporting Russian exports and imports.
