MINSK, 23 September (BelTA) – A Made in Belarus exposition has been opened as part of the 75th International Technical Fair, which is taking place in Plovdiv, Bulgaria through 28 September, representatives of the Marketing and Public Relations Department of the exhibition organizing company BelInterExpo of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BelCCI) told BelTA.
Five Belarusian petrochemical companies have presented their products as part of the Made in Belarus exposition. In particular, Belshina presented a broad choice of car and truck tires while Gomel Chemical Plant has mineral fertilizers on display.
Mineral Wax Plant demonstrates candle wax and a reagent for treating the packaging of food products. The oil refinery Naftan showcases diesel and jet fuel, gasoline, lubricants, petrochemical products used to make textile fabrics, carpets, artificial fur, and household chemicals. The choice of products brought by Polotsk-Steklovolokno includes construction materials, structural materials, and high-temperature materials.
The exposition has been organized by BelInterExpo with assistance of the Belarusian embassy in Bulgaria.
Taking part in the 75th International Technical Fair are over 500 companies from 35 countries, including Austria, Belgium, Greece, Denmark, India, Spain, Italy, Canada, USA, Turkey, Sweden, and Japan. The fair is expected to become one of the largest business events in Southeast Europe bringing together about 25,000 industry and technology professionals. Bulgaria Prime Minister Boyko Borissov took part in the opening ceremony.
