MINSK, 30 August (BelTA) – A Made in Belarus exposition featuring Belarusian manufacturers has opened as part of the Damascus International Fair, BelTA learned from representatives of the exhibition enterprise BelInterExpo of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Belarus is taking part in the Damascus International Fair for the third time. Belarusian industrial products, food products, achievements in science, education, and healthcare, and services are showcased by 14 Belarusian enterprises, including the tractor maker MTZ, Minsk Motor Plant, the maintenance company Sohra, the Belarusian Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education (BelMAPO), the pharmaceutical company NatiVita, RUP Medtekhnotsentr, and the Minskkhlebprom bakery.
The exposition has been organized by the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry with assistance of the Industry Ministry, the Healthcare Ministry, the Agriculture and Food Ministry, and the Belarusian embassy in Syria. The exposition operator is the exhibition enterprise BelInterExpo.
The Damascus International Fair is running from 28 August till 6 September. The fair features around 1,500 companies from various countries including Algeria, Armenia, Iraq, Cuba, the UAE, Oman, Pakistan, Russia, and South Africa.
