MINSK, 29 August (BelTA) – The Belarusian tractor maker MTZ intends to open a new service center in Chuvashia, Russia, BelTA learned from Alexander Kazakevich, MTZ Deputy Marketing Director for the CIS.
A Chuvashia delegation visited MTZ on 29 August. Plans to set up another MTZ service center in Chuvashia and increase sales were discussed.
Belarusian tractors are sold to Chuvashia via the trading house MTZ-ElAZ in Russia’s Tatarstan, which operates as the exclusive distributor of MTZ products in Russia’s Volga Federal District and Ural Federal District. Alexander Kazakevich said that tractor shipments to Chuvashia have increased considerably. About 60 tractors have been shipped so far this year. There are plans to ship about 100 tractors by the end of the year. MTZ is the leading tractor vendor in Chuvashia.
At present MTZ operates in over 60 countries. The Belarusian company designs, makes, and exports wheeled tractors and spare parts. The company licenses their production abroad. The company provides aftersales service and trains personnel how to take care of maintenance of the vehicles it makes. Customers are offered over 100 tractor models in over 200 assembly modifications for any climatic and operational conditions. The latest models can be coupled with agricultural machines of different manufacturers.
