MINSK, 29 April (BelTA) – The trade and manufacturing company MTZ-Tatarstan presented the modernized tractors MTZ 82.3 and MTZ 1222.3 at an exhibition in the international expo center Kazan Expo in the Russian city of Kazan, Republic of Tatarstan, Russian Federation, the MTZ press service told BelTA.
The special exhibition was arranged by the Industry and Trade Ministry of Tatarstan and focused on key branches of the manufacturing sector. Prime Minister of Belarus Roman Golovchenko and Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited the exhibition. They also went to see the tractor assembly shop of the trade and manufacturing company MTZ-Tatarstan.
The MTZ press service reminded that MTZ intends to increase the output of vehicles in the Russian city of Yelabuga to 5,000 in the next 3-4 years. MTZ-Tatarstan is the single company in charge of supplying MTZ vehicles to AO Rosagroleasing.
The Belarusian company MTZ (Minsk Tractor Works) is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of agricultural machines. Apart from the main factory the holding company MTZ comprises ten enterprises. As many as 25 assembly enterprises have been established abroad. MTZ products are represented in over 60 countries.
