MINSK, 5 June (BelTA) - The Belarusian automobile engineering company MAZ will present a unique vacuum street sweeper MAZ-5917B2-F10 during the WasteTech 2017 expo due to run in Moscow from 6 to 8 June, BelTA learned from the company’s official website.
Designed for prompt street cleaning, the special vehicle has been assembled in cooperation with the German Faun company. The street sweeper took the best from both manufacturers. The German equipment installed on the Belarusian chassis resulted into a vehicle virtually unparalleled in the CIS. One MAZ street sweeper is more efficient than some older special vehicles, the post on the website reads.
The vehicle can clean both asphalt and concrete roads. Its cleaning width totals 2.3 meters. The street sweeper humidifies the surface and absorbs dust. It also features two disc brushes and a cylinder one along with a six cubic meter body.
Belarus is not the only country to apply the new model. There are plans to export the vehicle to Russia, other CIS countries, and Europe.
MAZ will partake in the WasteTech 2017 expo for the first time. Apart from the street sweeper, MAZ will present a new dump truck and a combined hydrodynamic sewer jetter. The new models will soon come into service in Belarus and other countries.
