MINSK, 4 April (BelTA) – The Belarusian lift manufacturer Mogilevliftmash has reached an agreement on participation in the program on replacing old lifts in Armenia, BelTA learned from the company’s website.
The joint action plan on advancing bilateral cooperation between the Belarusian Industry Ministry and the Armenian Territorial Administration and Development Ministry in association with the Yerevan city administration included a series of meetings to discuss Mogilevliftmash’s participation in the Armenian outdated lifts replacement program. Preliminary agreements resulted in a visit of representatives of the Yerevan-based company RafelGrig to the Mogilev-based company Mogilevliftmash on 2 April.
As a result of the talks the sides signed a memorandum of cooperation, a dealership agreement, and a cooperation agreement envisaging the creation of an assembly enterprise in Armenia.
The Armenian delegation was made familiar with manufacturing premises of Mogilevliftmash, met with the company’s specialists and executives. The sides discussed the main stages of cooperation, the establishment of a joint venture to localize the production of components and assemble lifts at RafelGrig premises. Cooperation in assembling and installing lifts by qualified specialists in line with technical requirements of the Eurasian Economic Union was discussed.
