MINSK, 1 April (BelTA) – Belarus took part in Smart Factory + Automation World exhibition featuring smart factory and industrial automation in Seoul, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Embassy in the Republic of Korea.
The event was held in the COEX Convention & Exhibition Center on 27-29 March. The Belarusian exposition featured 13 organizations of the Education Ministry, the National Academy of Sciences and private enterprises who presented 59 innovations, solutions and R&D in metal processing, new materials, x-ray equipment, medical devices, biotechnology, precision engineering.
The Belarusian Institute of System Analysis and Information Support of Scientific and Technical Sphere and COEX Co., Ltd signed a memorandum of understanding. The ceremony was attended by First Deputy Director, Deputy Director for Science of the Belarusian institute Nikolai Zenchuk, Belarus' Ambassador to the Republic of Korea Andrei Popkov, and the COEX Co., Ltd. executive vice president.
All in all, the Belarusian delegation signed six documents on cooperation with Korean research centers and companies.
