MINSK, 11 April (BelTA) - Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Aleinik met with Hungarian Minister of Agriculture Istvan Nagy on 11 April, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“High on the agenda is cooperation in agriculture,” the ministry of foreign affairs said.
The visit of the Belarusian minister of foreign affairs to Budapest began on 11 April. A meeting of the intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation will be chaired by Sergei Aleinik and Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs Peter Szijjarto in Budapest on 12 April.
As BelTA reported earlier, Peter Szijjarto visited Minsk in February 2023. Then the parties agreed to hold a meeting of the commission on economic cooperation in spring. During the meeting, the parties agreed to intensify joint work within the framework of traditional institutional formats, which will become an additional incentive to expand the range of interaction.
