MINSK, 1 August (BelTA) - Belarusian health resorts have reported an increase in the export of services and revenue from the sale of vouchers to corporate and individual clients, BelTA learned Gennady Bolbatovsky, the director of the Belarusian national center of health resort treatment and recuperation.
“In the first half we saw an increase across all main indicators of the activity of health resorts. Revenue from the sale of services to corporate and individual clients surged by 26.7% as against H1 2017 to total Br174.7 million. The number of individual clients also increased to 271,300 (226,300 customers in January-June 2017),” Gennady Bolbatovsky said.
Services revenues were on the rise too. In H1 the revenues from sales of services to foreign nationals rose by 13.2% over the same period a year prior to total Br78.3 million. Belarusian health resorts provided treatment and health recuperation services to 110,200 citizens of the CIS and non-CIS countries (84,700 in H1 2017).
