MINSK, 5 March (BelTA) – The National Center for Marketing and Price Study of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has co-organized a Belarusian collective stand at the international furniture expo Meble Polska 2018 due in Poznan, Poland from 6 to 9 March, BelTA learned from the press service of the center.
The expo will see representatives of the Belarusian timber, woodworking, pulp and paper industry concern Bellesbumprom: Mogilevdrev, Yelsk Furtniture Factory (branch of Mozyr Woodworking Plant), Rechitsadrev, Gomeldrev, and FanDOK. The export potential of Belarusian furniture and woodworking companies will go on display at an exhibition covering some 150 square meters.
“These Belarusian companies will participate in Meble Polska to explore the development trends in the furniture industry, come into the spotlight in Poland, form a positive image of Belarus at international events, expand their presence at the existing markets, and establish personal contacts with end consumers.
Polish officials and businessmen are expected to visit the Belarusian stand during the expo.
Meble Polska is the largest event in the field of interior design in Central and Eastern Europe. This year, the expo will bring together over 1,300 companies from Europe, North America, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Mauritius, and Peru. The expo will feature 11 pavilions to cover a total area of around 70,000 square meters. Meble Polska is set to welcome some 25,000 specialists from 53 countries too.
