MINSK, 26 March (BelTA) – Belarusian enterprises will make products as part of OAO Gazprom’s import substitution program, BelTA learned from Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Vladimir Semashko.
A protocol was signed in Minsk on 26 March. In line with the protocol a list of products that Gazprom will buy as part of the import substitution program will have to be agreed. The Deputy Prime Minister said that the list will be prepared on a tight schedule, within several months in order to allow the sides “to sign concrete contracts between Belarusian enterprises and Gazprom in accordance with the list”.
A conference took place in Minsk to discuss the implementation of the roadmap specified by the project, which is designed to expand the use of Belarusian high-tech products and technologies by OAO Gazprom. The roadmap was signed during the specialized exhibition Belarus-Gazprom: Industry. Technologies. Cooperation in November 2014. Apart from that, the conference focused on standardization of merchandise, production of gas engine vehicles and gas equipment for Gazprom.
Representatives of government agencies took part in the conference as well as representatives of concerned ministries and agencies, top enterprises and industrial groups, the delegations of OAO Gazprom and OAO Gazprom Transgaz Belarus. Participants of the conference were made familiar an exhibition of new vehicles and equipment made by OAO Minsk Automobile Plant and OAO Minsk Motor Plant.
