MINSK, 16 October (BelTA) – BelAZ, Belarusian manufacturer of mining vehicles, is expanding into the Indian market. The company has signed a contract to supply 77 dump trucks BelAZ-75137 with the payload capacity of 136 tonnes to Coal India Limited, BelTA learned from the press service of the company.
The vehicles will be used at the Gevra open cast mine complex. The vehicles will be supplied with spare parts and provided with maintenance service for the period of eight years. A maintenance center is to open near the mine complex.
The contract is estimated at about $200 million. The first shipments of dump trucks will be made in November and December 2019.
