MINSK, 27 March (BelTA) - The Belarusian National Confederation of Entrepreneurship presented its flagship projects at a dialogue platform with the students of the Faculty of Economics of the International University MITSO, BelTA learned from the confederation.
Chairman of the Supreme Coordinating Council of the Union of Legal Entities “National Confederation of Entrepreneurship” Andrei Kopytok gave a lecture during the Week of Financial Literacy of Children and Young People, initiated by the National Bank. He told the students about entrepreneurship in Belarus, the role of confederation, business unions, regional and industry associations in the social and economic development, business climate and investment attractiveness of the country. The students were also presented the flagship projects of the confederation: Best City, District (Oblast) for Business in Belarus, Business Optimism Index, Belarus’ National Business Platform, and The Basics of Business Companies' Activities textbook.
“Improving financial literacy among young people is a flagship project of the future. We regularly participate in various seminars and lectures at universities and colleges, where we talk about our activities and answer questions about the legal framework for doing business. Students have the opportunity to participate in the confederation's flagship projects. For some of them it is an opportunity to get an internship to gain experience, for others it is an opportunity to talk about startup ideas and get support,” Andrei Kopytok said.
