MINSK, 6 April (BelTA) – Six Belarusian flagship petrochemical companies will take part in an expo of fibers and yarns in Istanbul, Turkey on 14-17 April, BelTA learned from representatives of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BelCCI).
“The companies will also arrange presentations during the Belarusian Chemical Industry Day to be organized at premises of the Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEIK) under the Turkish Economy Ministry on 13 April. The Belarusian exposition will include companies subordinate to the Belarusian state petrochemical concern Belneftekhim,” stated the source.
A wide range of synthetic fibers and yarns, polyamide-6 (PA-6) and composite materials based on it will be demonstrated by the Khimvolokno Plant branch of the Belarusian company Grodno Azot. Those are the polyamide textured BCF fiber for producing carpet flooring, the tire cord fabric for reinforcing pneumatic tires, the polyamide yarn for making ropes and fishing equipment, and the technical fabrics for making conveyor and drive belts.
The unique heat-resistant yarn Arselon is produced by the Belarusian company SvetlogorskKhimvolokno. This innovative fiber does not burn, does not melt, is water resistant and has maximum strength and electric resistance. This unique material is used for producing overalls and protective textiles for hotels as well as for making hoses, tires and high-temperature filters. Apart from that heat-resistant yarn the expo will feature polyester yarns of the DTY, FDY, POY, ATY varieties, carbon cloth, polypropylene packing materials, and jersey fabric.
Glass fiber and glass fiber-based products will be presented by the Polotsk-Steklovolokno company. The products will include electric insulation glass fiber, basalt fiber, high-temperature silica materials, glass yarn and woven rovings used for the electrical insulation of wires and for textile and belt production.
Naftan Company will present acrylic fiber and high-pressure polyethylene, road, building and roof bitumens, aromatic hydrocarbons, lubricating oils as well as different types of fuels including diesel fuel, ship fuel, and jet fuel.
One of the biggest chemical companies in Europe, Mogilevkhimvolokno will showcase a great variety of polyester fibers, yarns and braids used in the production of yarns, fillers and artificial fur. The company will also present polyester fabric, which is indispensable for making roof materials and carpet flooring.
The representative office of the Belneftekhim concern in Turkey, the BNH Petrokimya TLS, will present acrylic fiber and braids, polyester fiber and yarns.
The Belarusian Chemical Industry Day will take place at premises the Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEIK) under the Turkish Economy Ministry on 13 April. Presentations of Belarusian companies will be arranged during this day. Taking part in the business meeting will be Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Turkey Andrei Savinykh, representatives of the Belneftekhim concern, local business communities and representatives of the Turkish chemical industry. The Belarusian Chemical Industry Day has been organized by the Embassy of Belarus in Turkey and by the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BelCCI).
The BelInterExpo enterprise of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry will take care of the Belneftekhim concern’s collective stand.
