Belarusian cloud services provider strikes deal with server equipment manufacturer Inspur

MINSK, 14 June (BelTA) – The cloud computing services provider beCloud is the first Belarusian company to sign an agreement on strategic cooperation with one of the leaders of the world server equipment market – Inspur Company, the beCloud press service told BelTA.

BeCloud and China’s largest vendor of integrated solutions and storage systems for Big Data and cloud computing are expected to combine efforts for the sake of development of IT infrastructure for the G-cloud project and the national data processing center. Inspur Company also intends to introduce the world’s best cloud technology practices on the Belarusian market.

The sides will test Inspur’s software and hardware solutions in beCloud’s data center, including cybersecurity tests. Cooperation with Inspur will also allow beCloud to participate in the implementation of important innovation projects at the government level such as e-government, e-education, smart city, e-taxes, e-health, and other initiatives.

“The BeCloud-Inspur agreement represents a strategic stage in the development of the Belarusian digital strategy and can become a serious step towards improving business processes of state-run organizations in the country. Apart from that, spreading the knowledge and experience accumulated by Inspur for the sake of providing comprehensive support to the country’s IT industry and organizations embarking upon digital transformation is another goal of our cooperation,” said beCloud Director General Oleg Sedelnik.
