MINSK, 15 December (BelTA) – The Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BelCCI) and the Korea International Trade Association (KITA) have signed a cooperation agreement. The document was signed by BelCCI Chairman Vladimir Ulakhovich and KITA CEO Kim Young-ju during an online meeting, BelTA has learned.
The agreement provides for the joint organization of business meetings, exhibitions, fairs, seminars, conferences, and other events in Belarus and the Republic of Korea. It also provides for interaction between the BelCCI and KITA in matters concerning the establishment of a business council for the sake of discussing business matters and bolstering economic cooperation. The sides will help Belarusian and Korean organizations and enterprises to develop all kinds of foreign economic activities.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to the Republic of Korea Andrei Popkov took part in the online meeting. Participants of the meeting discussed promising avenues of expansion of interaction between Belarusian and Korean enterprises and organizations, possibilities of organizing the first session of the business council and other events involving representatives of the business circles of Belarus and Korea in 2021.
