With this in mind the managing company is diversifying target markets and stepping up presence in countries of the European Union, for instance, Poland, Lithuania, and Latvia. In H1 2020 the growth rate of export to Poland totaled 165.1%, to Latvia 215%, to Lithuania 108.5%. In this period cement shipments to St Petersburg virtually tripled. However, there are certain difficulties relating primarily to the epidemic situation in the countries that consume our products,” the executive said.

The source also stressed that the implementation of investment projects designed to reduce the prime cost of products is one of the most important factors behind the successful operation of the holding company and its enterprises. The most important projects of late include the construction of a process line to use RDF fuel in order to make clinker bricks, the construction of a line to prepare the heat transfer agent for a heat generator in Krasnoselskstroymaterialy, the reconstruction of a railway line, a fireproof materials warehouse, the modernization of a concrete mixture preparation system in Krichevtsementnoshifer. All these measures will definitely have a positive effect on performance and respectively on salaries of the employees.
