Belarusian Cement Company opens representative office in Ukraine

MINSK, 6 April (BelTA) – The holding company Belarusian Cement Company has opened a representative office in Ukraine. A presentation of the office took place as part of the international civil engineering expo InterBuildExpo 2021 in Kiev, BelTA has learned.
Head of the company’s Foreign Economic Activities Office Olga Vrublevskaya believes that the opening of the representative office represents an important step in effective cooperation with Ukrainian consumers of cement and construction materials.
The company also participated in the expo. In particular, the company demonstrated the manufacturing capabilities of its cement mills. Representatives of over 30 major companies working in this industry visited the company’s stand. Those were primarily Ukrainian companies as well as companies from Romania, Moldova, and other countries. Those were companies with their own distribution chains, construction companies, and manufacturers of reinforced concrete products. Apart from that, representatives of Belarusian Cement Company met with representatives of major logistic companies to discuss the delivery of Belarusian products to Ukraine and beyond. “The negotiations were successful. Consumers were primarily interested in importing Belarusian cement and foam concrete blocks. Belarusian Cement Company is in the process of signing major contracts as a result of the expo,” Olga Vrublevskaya said.
The trading house Belarusian Cement Company – Ukraine started working in March 2021. It is the fourth foreign representative office of Belarusian Cement Company. The company has its own trading houses in the Russian cities of Smolensk and Kaliningrad and in Polish Siedlce.
