MINSK, 18 May (BelTA) – Foreign companies cannot get the business operation terms as good as Belarus’ anywhere else in Europe. Prime Minister of Belarus Roman Golovchenko made the statement after visiting the China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone, BelTA has learned.
Companies from over 14 countries, including provisionally unfriendly ones, are residents of the Great Stone park now. “This term applies to authorities. It doesn’t apply to people and businesses. Of course, we primarily rely on companies from the People’s Republic of China and the Russian Federation. It is natural because the park is an anchor point of the industrial development of the Belt and Road initiative. Chinese and Russian technologies and the Eurasian Economic Union market organically get in touch with each other on the Belarusian land,” Roman Golovchenko stressed.
Even in the face of sanctions-fueled restrictions companies from Europe and America keep coming to the China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone. “The companies understand economic advantages and the fact that they cannot get business operation terms as good as these are anywhere else. This is why they come here with pleasure. The Eurasian Economic Union market is still serious and solvent, this is why this interest is absolutely pragmatic. This is where our interests intersect,” the prime minister noted.
