MINSK, 11 May (BelTA) – A collective exposition of Belarusian producers Made in Belarus is on show for the first time at the food and hospitality tradeshow Hofex 2017 in China, BelTA learned from Belinterexpo, an organizer of the exposition.

The exposition has featured five Belarusian dairy and meat producers: Minsk Dairy No.1, Volkovysk Meat Paking Plant, Molodechno Dairy, Pinsk Meat Packing Plant, and Admiral Husso.

Minsk Dairy No.1 and Molodechno Dairy have brought to the expo their milk powder, butter, chocolate glazed curd bars, Fetu and Brynza cheeses, sport supplements (protein). Volkovysk Meat Packing Plant and Pinsk Meat Packing Plant have displayed pork, beef, and by products. Admiral Husso is showcasing black caviar.

Belarus is taking part in the exhibition for the first time. Minsk Dairy No.1 has signed three agreements on butter and milk supplies; Admiral Husso has concluded a partnership agreement on the delivery of osetra caviar to Hong Kong and Macao; Volkovysk Meat Packing Plant is negotiating more supplies of pork and beef to the restaurants of Hong Kong.

Hofex is one of the biggest exhibitions of food products and beverages in China. The expo is held in Hong Kong, a food re-export hub which accounts for nearly 30% of China’s foreign trade on the annual basis.
