MINSK, 6 April (BelTA) - The Belarusian state light industry concern Bellegprom is considering possibilities to launch flax deliveries to the market of Tajikistan, BelTA learned from the press service of Bellegprom.
Issues related to cooperation between light industry enterprises of the two countries were discussed as part of the Belarus-Tajikistan intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation.
“Belarusian flax is of interest to business in different parts of the world, and Tajikistan is no exception. We will be considering the supplies of Orsha Linen Mill products and Kamvol’s flax fabrics to the market of Tajikistan. We hope that by the end of the summer we will be able to arrange a visit of stakeholders to Belarus,” Bellegprom Deputy Chairman Vadim Lamkov said.
Bellegprom consists of 74 organizations, 59 of which are industrial enterprises. The industrial enterprises are divided by sectors, including textile, apparel, knitwear and leather footwear production. Products are sold to more than 50 countries.
