MINSK, 8 October (BelTA) – The Belarusian automobile engineering company BelAZ will ship a batch of 130-tonne haul trucks to Indonesia. The relevant contract with representatives of the company PT Darma Henwa Tbk was signed in Jakarta, BelTA has learned.

Eight BelAZ 75131 trucks will be shipped to East Kalimantan Province where they will be used to transport overburden in a coal pit. The vehicles have been tweaked taking into account climatic conditions (a certain type of rubber is used, an air conditioner has been installed, the cooling system has been changed).

BelAZ’s interests in Southeast Asia are represented by Belazia PTE LTD. Indonesian mining companies have known BelAZ vehicles for years. They use BelAZ haul trucks with the carrying capacity of 45 tonnes, 110 tonnes, and 130 tonnes. The vehicles have earned a good reputation.
