MINSK, 10 May (BelTA) – The Belarusian automobile engineering company BelAZ has presented effective solutions for the mining industry at the company’s stand during the mining machinery and equipment expo MiningWorld Russia 2022 in Moscow, BelTA has learned.

BelAZ arranged an extensive business program, during which participants exchanged opinions about the situation on the market, shared their experience, and discussed topical issues of the mining industry and future work.

Negotiations were held with the main consumers of BelAZ’s products in Russia – the East Mining Company, Russdragmet (Highland Gold Mining Ltd), the ore mining and processing enterprise Ozerny (Oz Mine), and the ore mining company Alatau.

BelAZ representatives presented the lineup of mining vehicles the company offers and presented solutions for the mining industry, which help consumers improve performance and safety of operations. The demonstrated solutions follow international trends in favor of using alternative sources of energy in mining vehicles: haul trucks powered by accumulators, diesel trolley trucks, and a robotized system.

The public joint-stock company (OAO) BelAZ is the managing company of the holding company BelAZ. BelAZ is the world's largest manufacturer of haul trucks and transport equipment for the mining industry and the civil engineering industry. BelAZ occupies about 30% of the world market of haul trucks with an extremely large carrying capacity. The company makes the world's largest haul truck with the carrying capacity of 450 tonnes.
