KIEV, 20 July (BelTA) – The Belarusian manufacturer of utility vehicles Amkodor intends to increase deliveries to Ukraine by several times, BelTA learned from Amkodor Director General Valery Ivankovich in Kiev.

The executive said: “We’ve been present on the Ukrainian market for seven years already. Today it is a potentially large market with great opportunities. There is a demand for our agricultural machines, road construction machines, and municipal vehicles. We work with industry agencies and businessmen from various parts of Ukraine.”

In his words, the company intends to achieve ambitious goals in Ukraine in the future. “We intend to double our trade volume this year. Next year we intend to triple and quadruple it,” stated Valery Ivankovich. “By all means we support cooperation with Belarusian companies, which win tenders in Ukraine and are ready to pool resources to develop and promote Belarusian machines and vehicles.”

Apart from that, efforts are also channeled into the development of joint ventures with Ukrainian companies. The establishment of a joint venture to assemble machines and vehicles out of assembly kits and selling them on the Ukrainian market was mentioned.

In turn, Director of OOO Amkodor-Ukrospetsmash Company Gennady Kondratyuk said that the company intends to increase Amkodor sales in Ukraine by renewing vehicle fleets as part of projects involving road construction, agriculture, forestry industry, and other branches of the economy.

In his words, there are about 1,000 various Amkodor-made machines and vehicles in Ukraine at present.

Efforts are also channeled into selling grain dryers to companies in Odessa Oblast and Poltava Oblast.

Gennady Kondratyuk stressed: “Our machines enjoy a significant competitive edge by offering a great value for money. Ukrainian consumers know our products.”

Gennady Kondratyuk remarked that in addition to selling vehicles and machines for various purposes Amkodor offers aftersales service and general maintenance as well as timely deliveries of original spare parts and components for all machines and vehicles.
