MINSK, 18 March (BelTA) – Global Finance magazine named Belarusbank as the best Belarusian emerging markets bank in Central and Eastern Europe in 2015, BelTA learnt from the bank’s press service.
Criteria for choosing the winners included growth in assets, profitability, strategic relationships, customer service, competitive pricing, and innovative products. The report covered best banks in 21 countries of Central and Eastern Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America. Global Finance editors compile the list of the best banks in close cooperation with industry analysts, corporate executives and banking consultants. A poll of Global Finance’s corporate readership is conducted in order to increase the accuracy and reliability of the results. This is the twenty-second year that the magazine has selected top banking performers in emerging markets.
Belarusbank has been named the best bank in Belarus by Global Finance for the fourth time. According to Chairman of the Board of Belarusbank Sergei Pisarik, it is a great honor for the bank to get such a high international assessment.
