MINSK, 21 March (BelTA) - The Belarusian Agriculture and Food Ministry has played host to a meeting with a delegation from the Department of Veterinary Services of the Ministry of Lands, Agriculture, Water Resources and Rural Development of the Republic of Zimbabwe, BelTA learned from the Agriculture and Food Ministry.
According to the ministry, the parties discussed issues of bilateral cooperation, including the ongoing inspection of Belarusian enterprises to certify the supply of Belarusian dairy products to the Zimbabwean market.
The delegation of Zimbabwe praised a high technological level of the Belarusian enterprises.
The parties welcomed the prompt initialing of the veterinary certificate for dairy products intended for delivery to Zimbabwe in March 2024 and agreed to continue working on the harmonization of veterinary certificates for other types of products. The parties confirmed their readiness to implement the roadmap to develop cooperation in agriculture.
