MINSK, 19 September (BelTA) – Belarus Higher Education Modernization Project was discussed at a meeting between Belarus Deputy Prime Minister Igor Petrishenko and World Bank Country Manager for Belarus Alex Kremer which was held in Minsk on 18 September, BelTA learned from the website of the Belarusian government.
The project is designed to improve learning environment for children and the youth, modernize infrastructure of educational institutions, and introduce innovative approaches and advanced technologies to education.
The parties also discussed the status of implementation of the project to upgrade the national education system in general and joint activities on projects in public health.
The parties welcomed constructive cooperation in joint social projects and expressed willingness to step up cooperation.
