MINSK, 11 January (BelTA) – Belarus’ Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Mikalai Barysevich is in Vietnam on a working visit, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Mikalai Barysevich visited the Province of Hung Yen which is home to the Belarusian-Vietnamese projects such the plant to assemble MAZ trucks (MAZ-Asia joint venture) and the facility to make dairy products from Belarusian raw materials (Au Viet Milk). "The Belarusian delegation held meetings at the enterprises to discuss the prospects for trade, economic and interregional cooperation, the ways of stepping up bilateral trade and also considered the issues facing MAZ-Asia and Au Viet Milk. Prospects for further development of these enterprises were reviewed," the press service said.
An agreement was reached with the Vietnamese partners to continue work on the order intake for 2022.
