MINSK, 26 June (BelTA) – As part of the visit to the People’s Republic of China Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Piotr Parkhomchik discussed the realization of topical Belarusian-Chinese projects in manufacturing sector and future prospects of their development with top managers of Chinese industrial companies, the press service of the Belarusian Industry Ministry told BelTA.
The negotiations focused on joint projects, which envisage manufacturing localization, the expansion of the product range, and the creation of the necessary parts and components at manufacturing sites in Belarus.
The parties confirmed mutual interest in further expansion of practical cooperation.
The state pays extremely focused attention to the advancement of manufacturing cooperation with Chinese partners. Belarus and China will be able to take industrial cooperation to new heights by means of setting up joint manufacturing facilities, by expanding interaction in deliveries of fabrication equipment, and by modernizing Belarusian enterprises taking into account technologies and competences of Chinese companies.
BelTA reported earlier that a Belarusian delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Piotr Parkhomchik and involving top officials of the Industry Ministry and top managers of major industrial enterprises is in China on a visit on 25-28 June.
