MINSK, 18 March (BelTA) – Belarus and Uzbekistan are interested in building up cooperation in the manufacturing sector. This matter was discussed at a meeting between Belarus’ Deputy Industry Minister Dmitry Kharitonchik and Chargé d’Affaires of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Belarus Rakhmatulla Nazarov, BelTA learned from the press service of the Industry Ministry.
The parties took stock of the foreign economic activity in the past year. They welcomed positive dynamics in bilateral trade in recent years.
The parties reaffirmed their commitment to promoting mutually beneficial contacts between the industrial sectors of the two countries.
In addition, they discussed participation of Belarusian manufacturers in the maiden edition of the Tashkent International Investment Forum and the exhibition Innoprom. Central Asia.
