MINSK, 26 August (BelTA) – Belarusian Agriculture and Food Minister Igor Brylo held a working meeting with Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan Jamshid Khodjaev, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Agriculture and Food Ministry.
The parties considered issues of further cooperation and development of trade and economic relations between Belarus and Uzbekistan.
The trade in agro-industrial products between the two countries increased in January-June 2022. Both exports and imports went up testifying to joint productive work.
Belarus exports its meat products, dairy products and baby food to Uzbekistan and imports Uzbek fruits and vegetables, grapes, dried fruits and nuts.
All higher education agricultural institutions of Belarus have agreements on cooperation with the education institutions of Uzbekistan.
Jamshid Khodjaev signed the book of distinguished guests at the Belarusian Agriculture and Food Ministry.
