According to Mikhail Portnoi, Turkey is one of the target markets where Belarus has been efficiency working. “The signed joint program envisages steps and our further actions on a mutual increase of tourist flows,” he said.

Turkey is one of the most popular holiday destinations for Belarusian tourists. “Turkey is interesting for cooperation in tourism not only as a region well-known for its holiday resorts but also as a country with a rich experience in hotel business and tourism industry,” Mikhail Portnoi said.

The Turkish deputy culture and tourism minister stressed that Belarus is a country attractive to Turkish tourists, who are, first of all, interested in medical and eco-tourism. “We would like to develop relations with Belarus in tourism.
