Belarus, Turkey discuss cooperation in trade, investment
MINSK, 10 February (BelTA) - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Turkey Andrei Savinykh met with Husnu Dilemre, Deputy Undersecretary at the Ministry of Economy of Turkey, BelTA was told in the Foreign Ministry.
“The parties agreed to intensify the preparations for the bilateral economic forums and meetings due in Minsk in the first half of 2017, including the 9th session of the Belarusian-Turkish intergovernmental economic commission, the 3rd meeting of the bilateral working group on industrial and technological cooperation and the regular session of the Belarusian-Turkish council of business cooperation and a business forum,” the press service informed.
The parties also discussed a wide range of issues of the Belarusian-Turkish cooperation in trade and investment. Particular attention was paid to the implementation of the agreements in economy reached during the official visit of the Turkish President to Belarus in November 2016.
