MINSK, 11 May (BelTA) – A Made in Belarus exhibition will be arranged at the 60th Damascus International Fair due in the Syrian capital on 6-15 September this year, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Energy Ministry.
The exhibition will cover different fields: mechanical engineering and industrial equipment, agriculture and food, petrochemical industry, woodworking and building materials, light industry, medical equipment and pharmaceuticals, transport and logistics, scientific and technological achievements, sport and tourism, educational services, information technology and telecommunications, consumer goods.
“The Belarusian exhibitors have been offered priority placement, individual design with elements of national symbols, advertising-information support. Representatives of the Syrian business community are expected to attend the exhibition,” the press service noted.
The Damascus International Fair is a major business-forum in the Middle East region. In 2017 it drew 4,800 companies from 43 countries, over 100,000 visitors. This year the fair will be held under the patronage of Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad.
