MINSK, 4 June (BelTA) – Minsk Bearing Plant and Shree Shyam Bearings Pvt. Ltd signed a contract on the delivery of $1 million worth of bearings to India. The document was signed during the Belarusian-Indian Business Forum in Minsk on 4 June, BelTA has learned.
Contracts were also signed on the delivery of car components to Belarus. Signatures to the documents were set by the heads of the Borisov plant Avtogydrousilitel and ZF Steering Gear (India) Ltd.
A trilateral agreement on long-term service maintenance of BelAZ equipment and supply guarantees for the Belarusian quarry machinery was signed by BelAZ – the managing company of BelAZ Holding, Belaz-Enrika Trades and Services and Voltas Limited.
Partaking in the Belarusian-Indian Business Forum were about 100 people, including over 40 businessmen of India. The event included a ceremony to unveil a plaque to commemorate the interaction between Indian and Belarusian experts on reconstruction of Grodno CHPP-2.
The forum featured a presentation of investment opportunities of Belarus, and mechanisms for crediting, insurance and leasing in Belarusian machinery exports to India.
