MINSK, 13 July (BelTA) – Belarus intends to step up the presence of small and medium enterprises on the Slovakian market, BelTA learned from Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Slovakia Igor Leshchenya on 13 July.
The Ambassador remarked that Belarus sells products made by Gomselmash and Amkodor to Slovakia. There are also dealers for enterprises with a medium output volume. Dealers have been found for Lidagroprommash and Bobruiskagromash. “In the future we intend to step up the presence of small and medium Belarusian enterprises on the Slovakian market,” stressed the Ambassador.
Speaking about humanitarian cooperation, the Ambassador noted that Slovaks are a Slavic nation, which is close to Belarusians. “This is why tight cooperation will be maintained in the area of tourism, education, science, and culture,” he said.
Igor Leshchenya took part in a meeting of heads of Belarusian diplomatic missions abroad with heads of enterprises and organizations, which are members of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in Minsk on 13 July. Matters of cooperation for the sake of exporting more Belarusian products were discussed. Apart from that, bilateral negotiations were arranged.
