Belarus to showcase its export potential at expo in Georgia in November

MINSK, 3 August (BelTA) – Belarus will take part in an agricultural exhibition in Georgia in November, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belinterexpo exhibition enterprise of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BelCCI).

One of the region’s largest industry events – the 20th installment of the International Exhibition of Agriculture And Food Industry – Agro / Food / Drink / Tech / Expo - will be held in Tbilisi on 18-20 November. Belarus will present products of Belarusian exporting companies. A big business delegation will arrive in Georgia to participate in the exhibition and a business program.

The business community of Belarus is interested in Georgia as it is a steadily growing market. According to the World Bank, the Georgian economy will grow by 5.5% by the end of 2022 and this will be followed by about 5% growth further on. The main driver of growth will be the service sector, in particular, tourism.

The Agro / Food / Drink / Tech / Expo exhibition offers a great opportunity for Belarusian companies to showcase their export potential. The exhibition will cover a wide range of areas: agricultural machinery, water purification systems, veterinary medicine, food production technologies, meat, dairy and fish products, confectionery, fruits and vegetables, beverages, packaging solutions, ingredients, frozen products, refrigeration and commercial equipment, etc. The event usually brings together hundreds of participating companies from dozens of countries, more than 5,000 visitors.

Belarus’ participation in the expo will be facilitated by the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Belinterexpo with the support of the Belarusian Embassy in Georgia.

Applications can be submitted by 8 September.
