MINSK, 31 January (BelTA) – On 1 February Belarus will reduce export duties on oil and petroleum products that are exported outside the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union. This decision was formalized by Council of Ministers’ Resolution No. 62 as of 30 January 2019 officially published on the national legal internet portal, BelTA has learned.
The export duty on crude oil will reduce from $89 to $80.7 per 1 tonne. The duty on straight-run gasoline will drop from $48.9 to $44.3 per 1 tonne. The duty on commercial gasoline will go down from $26.7 to $24.2 per 1 tonne.
The export duty on light and medium distillates will make up $24.2 per 1 tonne instead of $26.7. The same rate will be applied to diesel fuel, benzene, toluene, xylene, lubricants, and other oils.
The export duties on crude oil and some categories of derivative oil products were previously revised downwards on 1 January 2019.
