Belarus to raise export duties on oil, oil products on 1 May

MINSK, 29 April (BelTA) – The Council of Ministers’ resolution No.285 of 28 April 2023 provides for raising export duties on oil and oil products, which are exported beyond the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), BelTA learned from the national legal information registry.

In line with the resolution the size of the export duty on crude oil, furnace oil, oil bitumen, petrolatum, paraffin, and waste oils will be $14.4 per tonne ($14.3 per tonne previously), on straight-run gasoline – $7.9 per tonne ($7.8 previously), on commercial gasoline, diesel fuel, light and middle distillates, benzene, toluene, xylene, lubricants – $4.3 per tonne ($4.2 previously).

The resolution will come into force on 1 May 2023.
