MINSK, 12 June (BelTA) – Belarus will present over 80 hi-tech projects at the eMerge Americas technology conference in Miami, U.S., BelTA learned from the press service of the State Science and Technology Committee.
“The Belarusian delegation headed by Chairman of the State Science and Technology Committee Alexander Shumilin will partake in the international technology conference eMerge Americas due on 12-13 June in Miami. The Belarusian stand is expected to showcase over 80 hi-tech knowledge-intensive solutions and projects of the Belarusian Education Ministry, Academy of Sciences, and the Hi-Tech Park in relevant fields,” the press service noted.
The forum’s participants will speak about the current state and prospects of science, technology, and innovations in their respective countries, including Belarus and the U.S. Alexander Shumilin plans to meet with top executives of Miami-Dade County's official economic development partnership Beacon Council, top officials of Miami-Dade County, Broward Country, the cities of Fort Lauderdale and Coral Gables, representatives of the University of Miami and science parks that make hi-tech innovative products.
eMerge Americas is an international expo and conference that helps promote technologies and exchange ideas. The Belarusian exhibition at the conference is organized by the State Science and Technology Committee with the assistance of the Belarusian Hi-Tech Park, the Education Ministry, the Industry Ministry, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Academy of Sciences, and the National Center for Marketing and Price Study.
